Did You Know… Simcoe Building Centre; 140 Ferndale Drive N. Barrie turned 25 last year! September 2016 marked our 25th Anniversary and we enjoyed celebrating together with our team including many employees who have been with us since the beginning years, and our contractors, loyal customers and vendors that have supported us in reaching this milestone.
In two days of celebration we offered sales and giveaways, cake & bbq’s. Industry professionals were here on hand to discuss their products and answer questions for our contractors and homeowners regarding their projects. Canadian Hall of Famer “the China Wall” Johnny Bower former Toronto Maple Leaf was on hand signing autographs and greeting his fans in support of Hospice Simcoe.
We are proud to have been part of our community in the same location for 25 years and to show our appreciation we offered an avenue to nominate local organizations that are offering great things within our community, who are making a difference or who are achieving great accomplishments through our Simcoe Gives Back website page and together with our sponsors gave away $25,000 in donations. Hundreds of nominations were received and we were surprised at the amount of organizations that are in our communities that we did not even know about.
